brief synopsis
In this hilarious, heartwarming, and deeply moving new coming-of-age musical, a high school teen navigates first love, friendship, family, and "coming out" as gay...which would be a lot easier if he didn't live in Orlando, Florida at the height of "don't say gay." With an original pop/rock score, Big Ass Secret melds the worlds of musical theatre and pop together, making for an electric, timely piece of musical theatre with big feelings that evokes laughter, love, joy, and hope.
